Modern Woodmen of America, Rock Island, Illinois, has appointed Teresa J. Richhart, Taylor Ridge, Illinois, as its chief human resources officer and senior vice president, effective June 1.
Teresa began her Modern Woodmen career in December 1998, serving in the Members’ Service Department for the fraternal financial services organization. She has served in analyst, assistant and supervisory roles in various departments and was promoted to manager of Members’ Service in 2012.
In 2016, Richhart became employee services manager in Human Resources, and she was promoted to director in January 2023.
Teresa earned her bachelor’s degree in human resource management and business administration from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas, and she holds an MBA from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa. Her professional designations include Fellow, Life Management Institute; Associate, Customer Service; and Professional, Customer Service.
